Defending champions Bashundhara Kings will be eyeing to be back in winning way when they host Arambagh Krira Sangha in their ninth round match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League today at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla.

Kings played a goalless draw with Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited after winning seven consecutive matches in the ongoing league.

It also halts their successive 12 matches winning momentum including five matches of Federation Cup.

Kings are still leading the BPL points table with 22 points and they are currently having a four-point lead over second-placed Dhaka Abahani Limited.

Arambagh KS are at the bottom of the table and they are yet to open the account despite playing seven matches so far.

Kings are likely to make two changes in the playing eleven as their two key defenders -- Topu Barman and Bishwanath Ghosh -- will miss the match due to injuries.

“Both Topu and Bishwanath got injured in the last match. Topu's injury is serious and may miss the rest of the matches of the first phase. We have three options in their places -- Sushanto Tripura, Yeasin Khan and Kazi Tariq Raihan,” Kings’ Technical Director BA Jobayer Nipu told The Daily Sun on Monday.

In the day’s other matches, Dhaka Abahani Limited will meet Saif Sporting Club while Sheikh Jamal will play against Uttar Baridhara Club with Bangabandhu National Stadium hosting both the matches.
