Tech giant Dell Technologies has appointed Sonia Bashir Kabir to its Asia Pacific and Japan CXO advisory board recently.
Twenty members from Asia have been chosen to join Dell’s APJ CXO advisory board, said a news release.The CXO advisory board is a platform for selecting senior leaders representing a range of industries and verticals that collaborate together with executives from Dell to explore business and technology issues. Sonia is the first woman tech venture capitalist in South Asia and is currently the founder of SBK Tech Ventures, a venture capital company. She serves as vice-chairperson on the board of the United Nations Technology Bank, appointed by the UN secretary general.
She is a member of the governing board of UNESCO’s Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development.
