Customers satisfied over WZPDCL services

Customers of West Zone Power Distribution Co Ltd (WZPDCL) expressed their satisfactions over the services provided by the power distribution company.

In a virtual public hearing on Thursday, participants and speakers observed about their happiness saying the WZPDCL has made unprecedented improvement in providing electricity services to its customers compared to the past, a press release said. A virtual public hearing was held at 11:00 am on Thursday. Makshuda Khatun, Additional Secretary (Administration) of the Power Department of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources as the Chief Guest and Abul Khair Md Aminur Rahman, Additional Secretary of the Power Department of the Ministry as the Special Guest while WZPDCL’s Managing Director Engineer Md Shafiq Uddin presided over the hearing.

Distinguished customers from various walks of life including public representatives, journalists, industrialists, farmers, employees gave feedback and suggestions on WZPDCL’s current power services.

In her speech, chief guest Makshuda Khatun said that the present government has exceeded the target for power generation so there is no load shedding now. The quality of customer service has increased with the unprecedented improvement in the power sector. In addition, WZPDCL, like other distribution companies, has launched a new on-line electricity connection service. Work is underway to install smart pre-paid meters to provide improved electricity services to the esteemed customers.
