Bangladesh Hockey Federation has decided to launch men’s Franchise Hockey League in May.

The decision was taken in a BHF executive committee meeting, chaired by its President and Chief of the Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, at the BAF Falcon Hall in Tejgaon.

BHF Acting General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf told the reporters that the committee also discussed on Premier Hockey League and a six-match series between two junior (U-21) teams of Bangladesh and India.

“We have decided to arrange a franchise hockey league in May. We got proposals from six franchises and we will now talk with them,” said Yousuf.
