BAMBA’s auditions for new members held

Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA) arranged an audition for new member bands at the Yamaha Music Store of Jamuna Future Park in the capital on Sunday. A total of 17 selected bands across the country took part at the audition.

Earlier on January 13, BAMBA invited bands from all over the country to apply for its membership. A total of 85 bands applied for the audition.

The audition session named ‘Yamaha- BAMBA Jam Session’ was held from 04:00pm to 08:30pm.

BAMBA President Hamin Ahmed, vice president SM Alam Tipu, general secretary Shakib Chowdhury, assistant secretary Kazi Asheqeen Shaju and treasurer Aly Sumon were the jury members of the audition.

Before the event, BAMBA and Yamaha Music Bangladesh signed an agreement.

BAMBA started its journey in 1987 through a concert to help the flood victims. Since then, the organisation has been arranging concerts and charity shows for various social welfare activities.
