The Center for Peace Studies (CPS) under the South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) of North South University (NSU) organised a webinar on ‘impacts of military coup in Myanmar on the Rohingya crisis’.
Brig Gen (rtd) M Sakhawat Hossain, senior fellow of SIPG, Shahidul Haque, ambassador and professorial fellow of SIPG, Lailufar Yasmin, professor of Dhaka University, and Dr Mahbubul Haque, faculty of Sultan Joynal Abedin University of Malaysia, joined the webinar as the panelists.
The webinar provided feedback on the military rule of various ethnic groups living in Myanmar, including the rohingya community living in Bangladesh and Malaysia.
