‘Corona opened door to new possibilities in medical sector’

Though there has been slight fall in achieving desired target due to corona, it has uncovered door of new possibilities in medical sector, said Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) Chairman Dr Md Salim Uddin.

He said this while presenting the main article in a direct virtual webinar titled ‘SDG-3 Good health and well-being’ organised by SDG Youth Forum, said a press release. 

Dr Md Salim Uddin said that adequate money allocation is urgent in research of the country’s doctors and researchers inspiring them in necessary research sectors

Parliamentarian of Sirajganj-2 constituency Professor Dr Md Habibe Millat was connected as chief guest in the webinar.

SDG Youth Forum President Noman Ullah Bahar presided over the function.

Former Secretary General of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Professor Dr Qazi Shahidul Alom, former Vice-chancellor of USTC Professor Dr Probhat Chandra Barua, President of Chittagong Maternity and Child Hospital Lion Syed Morshed Hossen, Proctor and researcher of University of Chittagong Dr Robiul Hasan Bhuiyan, and other officials, were present as panel discussants on the occasion.
