Number of cancer patients soaring in country

The number of cancer patients is increasing day by day all over the country, said speakers.

If the disease is identified at the earliest, it is possible to get rid of it, said speakers at a webinar on Thursday.

Besides awareness, necessary examination and treatment opportunities should be created all over the country to identify the disease, some experts made this opinion. At the same time trained manpower has to be created and they have to be posted at the district level hospitals.

The speakers expressed their views at a webinar titled ‘Coronary Cancer Treatment’, organized jointly by Kaler Kantho and Beacon Pharmaceuticals Limited on the occasion of World Cancer Day held on Thursday. Speakers said the availability of medicines is also an important factor in the treatment of cancer.

Due to the high price of drug, medicines are being smuggled from abroad. But no one can give any idea about the accuracy of this medicine. Now the world class medicine for cancer is being made in the country.
