One of the world’s largest instant communication platforms, imo on Tuesday has launched CelebrateLifeTogether campaign to inspire socio-economic progress in Bangladesh.
As imo’s first campaign in the year of 2021, it will feature a series of videos profiling imo users who have improved their lives and achieved their dreams through the app.The campaign also encourages people from all walks of life to share their inspiring stories and celebrate their lives with imo, said a press release.
To join the #CelebratelLifetTogether movement, users can share their unique imo stories with the campaign hashtag on social media platforms and imo’s MyPlanet.
In 2020, imo hit a record level of usage in Bangladesh in terms of instant communication. 96.8 billion messages and 26 billion audio and video calls were made through imo by Bangladeshi users.
With its industry-leading and localized communication technology, imo also helped Bangladeshi users save up to 150 million gigabytes of data in video and audio calls throughout 2020.
Beyond instant communication tools, imo’s other interactive functions such as MyPlanet content feed, VoiceRoom and games, create a platform where people can share interests, showcase talents and explore new life possibilities.
