BTCL to change landline numbers of three areas

Bangladesh Telecommun-ications Company Limited (BTCL) has moved to gradually convert its subscribers’ land phone numbers into 11 digits under Korail RSU exchange, Mohakhali ICDDRB ONU exchange and Banani Supermarket ONU exchange for better service delivery.

As part of the move, it will start converting fixed telephone numbers in the capital’s Korail, Mohakhali and Banani area, said a BTCL press release on Thursday.

For any information regarding number change, subscribers can call BTCL’s call centre number 16402 or Korail RSU exchange and Mohakhali ICDDRB ONU exchange on 02-41081199 or 02-222284444 and Banani Supermarket ONU exchange on 02-222294288, 02-222280014 and 01552310766.


After installing new numbers, customers have to dial full 11 digits from BTCL to BTCL or Mobile to BTCL.
