Arch-rivals Dhaka Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will vie in the much-anticipated ‘Dhaka Derby’ clash in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League fourth-round match at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Stadium in Cumilla today.

The match is scheduled to take place at 03:00pm and the country’s first-ever sports channel, T Sports will telecast the match live.

Dhaka Abahani will start the match as clear favourites as they won all their matches in the ongoing competition. Mohammedan, however, made a disappointing start in the league as they could earn only four points from their first three matches with one win, one draw and a defeat.

In the day’s other matches, Chittagong Abahoni will take on Sheikh Russel KC while Bangladesh Muktijoddha SKC will fight against Saif Sporting Club Limited. Both the matches will take place at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital.

Sheikh Russel are currently placed fourth in the 13-team table with seven points from three matches while Chittagong Abahoni are in fifth place with six points in as many games. Saif SC and Muktijoddha have four and three points respectively after three games.
