A fire broke out at a plastic warehouse in Hussaini Dalan area of the city’s Chawkbazar on Tuesday.
Being informed, three units of the firefighters went to the spot and doused the fire at 6:22pm.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
Arshad Hossain, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, told the Daily Sun that the fire broke out at the warehouse around 6:05pm.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
