Agrani Bank, BMET sign agreement

Agrani Bank General Manager Zakia Begum and Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) Additional Director General (Employment) Nafriza Shyama exchange documents after signing an agreement in the capital recently. Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed was also present.

Agrani Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) on the acceptance and disbursement of online immigration expenses.

Under the agreement, Agrani Bank's any branch and agents will be able to receive and disburse the payment of immigration expenses online from Bangladeshi expatriate, said a press release.

Agrani Bank Limited General Manager Zakia Begum and BMET Additional Director General (Employment) Nafriza Shyama signed the agreement on behalf their respective organisations.

Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed addressed the signing ceremony as the chief guest while Secretary of the Ministry Dr Ahmed Munirush Salehin presided over the function.

Agrani Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Shams-ul Islam, and Director General (Additional Secretary) BMET Md Shamsul Alam spoke on the occasion.
