Shahjalal Islami Bank receives SAFA award

Shahjalal Islami Bank Deputy Managing Director Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury receives the SAFA award from South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Vice-President AKM Delwer Hossain at a function recently.

Shahjalal Islami Bank received South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) award in the category of private sector banks for Best Presented Annual Report 2019.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka organised the SAFA best presented Annual Reports Award recently through digital platform, said a press release.

All CA institutes from the SAARC countries took part of the programme.

The Bangladeshi entities were connected through zoom apps at ICAB auditorium in Dhaka.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) handed over the prize among the winners at ICAB Bhaban.

Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and the CFO Md. Jafar Sadeq, received the SAFA award from the Vice-President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) AKM Delwer Hossain.

Among others, President of ICAB Muhammad Farooq, and Member Council of ICAB Mohammed Humayun Kabir were also present.
