QK Ahmad Foundation, DRRA sign deal

Shezamil Khalil, member and management advisor (executive committee) of QK Ahmad Foundation, and Farida Yesmin, executive director of DRRA, exchange documents after signing an agreement at the QK Ahmad Foundation office in the capital on Monday.

QK Ahmad Foundation and Disabled Rehabilitation and Research Association (DRRA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday with an aim to promote young entrepreneurs with disabilities.

As per the agreement, both the organisations will assist five young entrepreneurs with disabilities on a pilot basis to help them become self-reliant and thus to improve their lives and livelihood, says a press release.

Shezamil Khalil, member and management advisor (executive committee) of QK Ahmad Foundation, and Farida Yesmin, executive director of DRRA, signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations at the QK Ahmad Foundation office in the capital.

Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) chairman Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad presided over the agreement signing ceremony virtually.

Dr Md Jashim Uddin, vice-chairman of QK Ahmad Foundation and deputy managing director of PKSF, Swapna Reza, advisor (communication, advocacy and resource mobilisation) of DRRA, were present, among others, at the event, the release added.
