Rapid Action Battlaion-4 (RAB) arrested four officials of a so-called company named ‘Projonmo Force Private Limited’ after raiding its office at Savar, on the outskirts of the capital, on Sunday afternoon.

The RAB members detained them for cheating huge job seekers in the name of giving good jobs, said a press release of the battalion on Monday.

The arrestees are Shahara Banu, 35, of Kurigram, Mashiur Rahman, 21, of Sirajganj, Rabiul Islam Robi, 21, of Kurigram and Sabina Yasmeen, 18, of Pabna.

They rescued 20 job seekers from the office in Anandapur.

During primary interrogation, the arrested persons said that they cheated unemployed youths, luring them into good jobs.

They said that they opened offices of their company at different points of Dhaka city and its adjoining areas and advertised for appointing huge manpower to important posts.

They took a handsome amount of money from the job seekers, who visited their offices, and provided them fake appointment letters.

Next legal action against the arrestees is underway, said the press release.
