Islami Bank Central Hospital catches fire

Islami Bank Central Hospital at Kakrail in the capital caught fire on Monday evening.

Acting on information, two units of firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire after 20 minutes.

Russell Shikder, duty officer of the Fire Service Control room, told the Daily Sun that the blaze erupted on the ground floor of the hospital at about 7:00pm and it was doused around 7:20pm.

No casualty was reported in the incident.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, Russell said.
