Twenty-four more corona patients died and 910 new cases were detected during the last 24 hours till Monday morning. Death toll rose to 7,650 in the country so far.
The number of coronavirus infection cases decline and recovery has been increasing across the country. The total number of recovery has crossed 4.6 lakh.According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 910 new cases were detected in the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00am Monday, raising the total number to 5,16,929. Some 917 more patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, raising the total number to 4,61,515.
The DGHS data said the coronavirus death rate has stood at 1.48 percent. On the other hand, the recovery rate also has reached 89.28 percent, it added.
The health directorate said 15.80 percent of the samples have been diagnosed with coronavirus till the date while 7.52 percent samples have been diagnosed with the fatal disease in a day.
A total of 12,701 samples, out of 12,096 collected, were tested at 180 labs in the country during the period, the report added.
A total of 32,72,423 samples have been tested so far to detect coronavirus infection across the country.
The first case of Covid-19 was detected on March 8 while the first death was recorded on March 18 in the country.
