Condition of Moudud improving

The condition of Bangladesh Nationalist Party standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, who is undergoing treatment in a city hospital, was improving on Saturday.

Moudud Ahmed was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Wednesday after he fell sick, BNP chairperson's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information.

Moudud, former law minister, has been receiving treatment at the CCU since December 29 under the supervision of Professor Shahabuddin Ahmed Talukder, he said.

He is now feeling better and requested the country’s people to pray for his quick recovery, Shairul added.

After hospitalization, the veteran politician underwent coronavirus test twice, but he tested negative for the respiratory disease.
