Ireland’s High Performance team are set to tour Bangladesh in next February, confirmed Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury on Tuesday.

“We have continued the HP programme despite the limitations. Its first phase programme has been completed a few days ago. We have some plans and we are working on those. Our plan includes an international tour and we’re working on that,” said Nizamuddin.

BCB went ahead with the training program of HP unit  despite the COVID-19 pandemic in a bid to keep the players prepared.

Toby Radford took charge of the HP Unit after the camp commenced with the local coaches in charge.
