Left Democratic Alliance (LDA), a coalition of the country’s leftist political parties, will stage countrywide demonstration on December 30, demanding resignation of the incumbent government.

The alliance in its meeting held on Thursday has also taken decision to observe the December 30 as black day for what it said ‘assuming power by Awami League through vote robbery’.

On the occasion, the leftist parties will bring out procession carrying black flag. It will start from Purana Paltan crossing and march towards office of the Prime Minister at 11:00am on the day.

Leaders and activists of coalition will also stage sit-ins in front of the DC offices across the country.

LDA leaders also observed that the ruling party had reassumed power ‘illegally’ through holding day’s voting at night by using police and administration.

They alleged that the incumbent government is staying in power by muscle power while it has no moral right to stay in chair.

“If the government doesn’t resign, it will be compelled to resign through creating mass uprising,” the leftist leaders threatened.

Demanding resignation of the government, they called the countrymen to come to the street carrying black flag on December 30 to say no to the incumbent government.
