‘Transit’ at Clermont-Ferrand Int’l Short Film Festival

Ariq Anam Khan-directed short film ‘Transit’ will be screened at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France.

The Clermont-Ferrand Festival is one of the biggest short film festivals in the world. It is regarded as the biggest and most prestigious film festival in France after Cannes.

A total of 78 films have been selected from 7000 films for the main competition of the festival – where ‘Transit’ will be screened. The 42nd edition of the festival will take place from January 31 to February 7, 2021.

Jahangir Alam, Sharmeen Akhee, Baidya Nath Saha, Khairul Alam Tipu, Sharif Hossain Emon and others have played important roles in the film. ET Ng is the cinematographer, Sameer Ahmed is the editor, and Arafat Mohsin is the composer of the film. Due to the current global pandemic, both festivals will be taking place on a slightly limited scale.
