Int’l confce on STI 2000 kicks off tomorrow

The Faculty of Science and Engineering of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) is going to start a two-day 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 4.0 (STI 2020) from Saturday with a view to get ready for facing challenges of fourth industrial revolution.

The programme is likely to be inaugurated by the Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, and Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for ICT Divisio will present at the closing ceremony as the chief guest. The conference was sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Global.

The conference will be organised at the permanent campus of GUB, Purbachal American City, Rupganj.

Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of GUB and General Chair of the conference said that the aim of the STI conference is to establish a network of researchers and practitioners in the diverse fields of Industry 4.0 (IR4.0).

For the first time in Bangladesh, an international AI-based Dhaka Traffic Detection Challenge funded by Elsevier AIJ would be co-organized during STI 2020.

Besides this, the Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) is going to organize an event of idea-sharing titled EDUNIOUS- 4.0 – Finding the better solution for education to discuss and uncover the solution with the promised support of implementation.
