The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has made PCR test Covid-19 negative certificates mandatory for the passengers of international flights coming to Bangladesh, aiming to contain the second wave of coronavirus.
In a circular issued on Friday, CAAB said the order will be effective from today until further notice. It has also provided 11 instructions for passengers of inbound flights.
The notice was signed by Group Captain Chy M Zia Ul Kabir, CAAB member (flight standards and regulations).
The organisation has taken the decision considering unrelenting risks of coronavirus transmission in the country.
The CAAB, however, exempted children below the age of 10 years from carrying corona negative certificate.
