14 new dengue cases reported

Fourteen new dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours until Wednesday, raising the infection toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 1,207 in the current year.   

According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 1,207 people have been diagnosed with the dengue this year while 547 patients have been hospitalised in November and 33 in the current month.  The DGHS said 13 patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the capital and one was hospitalised outside the capital.
