CHATTOGRAM: A person was killed in a bike accident at Mirsarai upazila in the district on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Md Nurul Alam, 50, of Osmanpur union under the upazila.
In-Charge (IC) Md Firoz Hossain of Jorarganj Highway Police Outpost said a Chattogram-bound covered van hit the bike carrying Alam and his daughter's father-in-law on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Mirsarai Sadar area around 9:00am.
The accident left Alam dead on the spot, he said.
