‘Shotobarshe Shoto Gaan’ begins today

A week-long virtual music event titled ‘Shotobarshe Shoto Gaan’, featuring one hundred songs on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman begins today. Government Music College has organised the programme to celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.

Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhur, chief coordinator of National Implementation Committee for the celebration of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will attend the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest.

Education Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain will be present at the programme as the special guest with Govt. Music College Principle Professor Kristi Hefaz in the chair.

Popular artistes, including, Shaheen Samad, Timir Nandi, Chandana Majumdar, Bulbul Islam, Indro Mohon Rajbongshi, Bappa Mazumder and others will perform at the musical event. 

Former students of Govt. Music College, expatriates, students and teachers from different institutions will also participate in the week-long event.  

The event will begin at 06:00pm every day on the facebook page of Govt. Music College and continue till November 29.
