Kings president Imrul Hassan hospitalised with Covid-19

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Vice-president and Bashundhara Kings President Imrul Hassan has been hospitalised at Evercare Hospital on Monday after testing positive for COVID-19.

Bashundhara Kings Marketing and Media Manager Ahmed Shaaek told The Daily Sun that Imrul Hasan’s condition is stable, but he is currently under observation.

“He tested positive on Sunday and was later hospitalised on Monday. He has no serious complications . His condition is now better, but currently he staying under the observation of doctors,” Shaaek added.

BFF President, Senior Vice-president, General Secretary and executive committee members expressed their hope for his fast recovery.

Imrul, who was also a vice-president of the country’s top-flight club Sheikh Russel KC, was elected as BFF vice-president for the first time on Oct 3. He bagged the highest 89 votes to become the first VP.
