BRAC Bank has launched an exclusive financial package for the members of the Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) titled ‘PROBAHO’.
PROBAHO will support BACCO members with different facilities including better access to finance and support business expansion and fixed-asset purchases for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms and other outsourcing organisations, said a press release on Saturday.
While speaking Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said that PROBAHO package will play a vital role in bringing out a complete change in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector of the country for implementing the dream of the Digital Bangladesh by ensuring financial viability.
BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Selim RF Hussain said, "We understand the global potential of our BPO industry. We are glad to collaborate with BACCO to help its members with access to finance and allow them to grow their businesses to its true potential.”
BACCO President Wahid Sharif said, "BACCO has long been working to solve difficulties, including infrastructural development of its member organisations. We are hopeful that our collaboration with BRAC Bank will facilitate better access to finance for our member institutions as well as enable them to experience quality banking services”.
BACCO Secretary General Towhid Hossain said, “PROBAHO will support the country's BPO traders in overcoming the current financial crisis and support in creating new business opportunities.”
BRAC Bank Head of SME Syed Abdul Momen made a presentation on the features and benefits of PROBAHO and described how the model will support the BACCO members.
