Missing Leguna driver found dead in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM: Slaughtered body of the driver of a human hauler, locally known as Leguna, was recovered from Ananya Residential area under Hathazari Police Station in the district on Tuesday.

 The deceased was identified as Nazmul Sheikh, 22, son of Majnu Sheikh of Bramhandanga in Gopalganj.

 Sources said Nazmul along with his Leguna went missing from the city’s Pahartali area on Saturday last.

 Later, a general diary was lodged with Pahartali police station in this connection.

 In-charge (IC) Jabbarul Islam of Madunaghat police outpost said they recovered the body from Chandra Beel adjacent to Ananya Residential area at around 1:00pm.

 The body was found slaughtered with injury marks on hands and back, he said adding that they sent it to Chattogram Medical College Hospital morgue.
