‘Bangla’ to be released on Bongo Nov 13

‘Bangla’, a semi-autobiographical romantic comedy movie will be released on November 13 via Bongo, the biggest streaming platform in Bangladesh. The film is about second-generation challenges in steering life in Italian capital Rome, and also a spirited depiction of the complications of young love caught between different beliefs and cultures.

The film has been written and directed by Phaim Bhuyian, a second generation Bangladeshi-Italian, who plays the protagonist in this movie.

About the movie ‘Bangla’, Bongo’s Chief Operating Officer Fayaz Taher said, “Bongo is bringing something exciting and exclusive for its audience i.e. a Bangla dubbed international award winning Italian movie. The movie depicts an accurate picture of multi-ethnic second-generation life abroad of late. With its quirky humour, I believe our audience in Bangladesh and the Diasporas located outside will enjoy it greatly”.

Viewers can access Bongo through their iOS/Android APP, Website (https://www.bongobd.com), and Android TV app locally and globally.
