EconFest 5.0 held at NSU

The fifth installment of EconFest, a two-day event focused on the field of Economics, was broadcast live on Facebook recently.

The Young Economists’ Forum (YEF), a student-run academic club of North South University (NSU), organised the programme.

The event consisted of two sessions: speakonomics and experts’ dialogue.

Speakonomics is an inter-university, international paper presentation competition where undergraduate students presented their research essays on the topic, “How is Bangladeshi Surviving the Pandemic?”

The title sponsor of EconFest 5.0 was ACI Motor Ltd, Clinical Research Organisations (CRO) Dettol and Chittagong Stock Exchange.

Other sponsors were Torun as youth digital content partner, Skillhub as skill development partner, capsule as knowledge partner, Bahubrihi Technologies Ltd as E-Learning Partner and Smartifier Academy as youth engagement partner.

Bank Asia as banking partner, Banglalink as strategic partner, Veet Men as resource partner and Goti Logisitics as logistic partner were present.

Besides, ABC Radio, People’s Radio, Dhaka FM and Radio Shadhin, the Daily Sun, Kaler Kantho, Business Standard and DBC News were present as the media partner.
