Biman to resume flight to India on October 29

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced to resume flight operations to India from October 29.

The national flag carrier will operate flights on Dhaka-Delhi, Dhaka-Kolkata and Dhaka-Chennai routes following the Covid-19 health guideline. The flights on Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai routes will resume on October 29, November 1 and November 15 respectively.

The flights between Bangladesh and India will resume from October 28 under the ‘air-bubble’ arrangement between the two countries after eight months.

Three Bangladeshi carriers - Biman Bangladeshi Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines and Novo Air - would initially operate 28 flights a week, while five Indian airlines -- Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Vistara and GoAir -- would operate 28 flights a week between the two countries.
