Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) on Tuesday unbanned four officials from Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Dhaka Mariner Young’s Club and freed them from the penalty on condition of confirming their respective clubs' participation in the upcoming Premier Division Hockey League, scheduled to be held in December.

Chief of the Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force and BHF President Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat made the announcement in a press conference after an executive meeting held at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the capital.

“We want to ensure everyone’s participation in the upcoming premier league, so we have decided to withdraw their punishment on the condition,” the BHF president said.

Among four officials, MSC's team manager Ariful Haque Prince and assistant team manager Asaduzzaman Chandan had been banned for five years and fined by Tk one lakh each while Mariners’ general secretary Hasanullah Khan and Nazrul Islam had been banned for three years and fined by Tk 50,000 each.
