In separate messages, the President and the Prime Minister expressed their deepest condolences to the people of Kuwait and its government and members of the royal family.

The Bangladesh leaders said the Islamic world lost a leader, one of its most precious men, who was devoted to protecting the interest of the world’s Muslims.

“He was a true friend of Bangladesh and bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Kuwait added a new dimension under the leadership of Sheikh Sabah,” said the Bangladesh President and the Prime Minister.

They also recalled the role and contribution of the late Emir with gratitude as he did a lot for the welfare of the Bangladeshi expatriates living in Kuwait.
