Nasiruddin Komol: The singer of 500 playback songs

Nasiruddin Komol is a playback singer as well as a radio professional. He started his career as a playback singer with the movie ‘Boro Malik’ in 2001.  Since then, he has lent his voice to more than 500 playback songs. His popular playback songs are ‘Ma Amer Sorgo’, ‘Antor Jaala’ ‘King Kahn’, ‘Jibon Nia Juddho’ ‘Ami Bachte Chai’ and others.

Actors Shakib Khan, Manna, Rubel, Amit Hasan and many actors have synced their lips to Komol’s songs. He is also a regular face of popular magazine Ityadi. 

Komol, whose debut audio album ‘Tumi Thik-i Kadbe’ was released in 2003, will release two music videos of his songs ‘Ma’ and ‘Prohor’ soon. Lyrics written by Gunjon Chowdhury, Hridoy Khan has arranged the music of the songs. 

Komol, son of popular film director Shamsuddin Togor, feels comfortable to work in films behind the scenes. He said, “I feel comfortable to work behind the scenes. Always I wanted to highlight my works not myself. It makes me happy. Besides singing, currently I’m working as a station manager of private radio station 96.4 Spice FM.”

“Before joining as a station manager of 96.4 Spice FM I have served on many Bangladeshi as well as international media includes Masti FM 96.3 (Singapore), Channel i (Bangladesh), Radio Today (Bangladesh), radio Circle (Bangladesh), Asian Radio (Bangladesh) etc.”, he added.
