Voice of Business (VoB), business club of the Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University, recently organised a virtual discussion on mental health during quarantine time.
Bilkis Khanam, psychiatrist at Daffodil International University, attended the virtual session as guest speaker with around 50 participants at the programme.Describing the anger, stress and frustration in life, Bilkis Khanam advised to see the brightest and positive parts of life.
He also advised to be empathetic to family members during the quarantine.
The participants also got to know about OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), mindfulness meditation, breathing exercise, empathy from the session.
During the last few months, VoB has conducted a series of webinars to keep students productive during the quarantine. The session was a different and effective approach at the same time. It is mentionable that VoB is also the only student-run publication house of Bangladesh which published 10 magazines in its 13 years of glorious journey.
