Vietnam provides medical supplies for Bangladesh

Vietnam has donated medical supplies worth US$ 30,000 to Bangladesh to help combat the Covid-19 pandemic. 

On behalf of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dzung presented the medical supplies to Ambassador of Bangladesh to Vietnam Samina Naz in Hanoi on Friday, said the Vietnam Embassy in Dhaka on Saturday.

Deputy Minister Dzung emphasised that the pandemic is still evolving complicatedly in Vietnam and across the globe, but Vietnam still wishes to share burden and support with regional and international friends according to the tradition of solidarity and humanity.

Bangladesh is a traditional friend, always having good relations with Vietnam over the past decades, he said.

Samina Naz praised the effectiveness of Covid-19 prevention and control in Vietnam over the past time, and thanked the Vietnamese government and people for the valuable assistance.
