Ex-law secy Saleh dies of corona

Abu Saleh Sk Md Zahirul Haque Dulal, former secretary of Law and Justice Division under the Law Ministry, died of Covid-19 in a hospital in the capital on Wednesday night. He was 62.

He breathed his last at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) at 11:20pm, said Law Ministry public relation officer Rezaul Karim.

Abu Saleh, who retired from the job on August 7, 2019, left behind wife, two daughters, and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death. He was admitted to the hospital on July 27 with Covid-19 symptoms and diagnosed with the virus.

President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the former law secretary.

In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and Law Minister Anisul Huq also expressed profound shock and sorrow at his death.

In separate condolence messages, the chief justice and the law minister prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.

The present Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar and FBCCI President Sheikh Fazle Fahim also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Zahirul.
