RU teacher invents technology to free arsenic from water

RAJSHAHI: A teacher in Rajshahi University (RU) has invented a technology in collaboration with a Japanese researcher to free arsenic from water creating a hope of mitigating the country’s arsenic problem to a greater extent, reports BSS.

“We have already adopted measures of installing the technology in some arsenic-infected areas in Rajshahi region,” said Prof Monzur Hossain of the Department of Botany in RU.
