Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has extended his helping hand towards the MASTUL Foundation to make free ambulance services more available to the people during a time when medical transport resources of the country are being stretched thin due to the escalating spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Shakib has donated an ambulance through his ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’ to the MASTUL Foundation after which they have jointly decided that this ambulance should come into action as soon as possible to help COVID-19 patients.

The MASTUL Foundation is a non-profitable and social organisation. MASTUL has its own school and has been working in 22 schools in 12 districts, supporting 1100 under-privileged and disadvantaged, poor students with all the educational materials including school bags, shoes, socks, books and notebooks.

They are trying to ensure the health, nutritious food, children’s rights and basic needs of the children through their initiative under which there is a “MASTUL Shelter Home” for orphans where they give shelter to about 21 children.

MASTUL has a sewing training center as well, through which the disadvantaged women are being taught functional skills. Apart from this, 60 people have been made self-reliant through self-reliance projects.

The funerals and burial of the deceased from this COVID-19 disaster are also being conducted by MASTUL Foundation. MASTUL has free ambulance services and health services for the helpless and poor.
