Khaleda Zia’s adviser MA Haque dies

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser MA Haque died with Covid-19 symptoms at a hospital in Sylhet on Friday morning.

MA Haque, the former president of Sylhet City unit of BNP, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at North East Medical College Hospital at around 10:00am, hospital sources said.

Earlier, the BNP leader was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after his condition deteriorated.

Sample has been collected already from Haque to test coronavirus but the diagnosis report result is not available yet, the hospital sources added.
