Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon is in quarantine for 14 days at London and is waiting to undergo surgery after this isolation period.
Papon had left Dhaka for London to treat his chronic prostate disease. But before getting to admit in the hospital, he has to go through a 14-day quarantine. It has been heard that the BCB President boarded for London on June 21 and his isolation period will end on July 4.Due to his absence in front of the media, questions were raised regarding the state of his health. A media-friendly personality, Papon, was last seen in front of the media on May 20 while handing over BCB grant of Tk 50 lakh to State Minister for Youth and Sports for the 501 athletes of the country. Since then, he was not seen in public. He has been suffering from a chronic prostate problem. It was learnt that Papon was admitted in Apollo Hospital thrice before ultimately leaving for London.
