Art exhibition ‘Celebrating Nature’ underway at Galleri Kaya

An exclusive group art exhibition titled ‘Celebrating Nature’ is underway at Galleri Kaya. Organised by Galleri Kaya, the exhibition began on June 26.  

A selection of 120 works of 19 modern and contemporary artists of Bangladesh done in acrylic, oil, watercolor, ink, charcoal, pastel, pencil and mixed media on paper and canvas are being showcased in the exhibition.

The participating artist are Abdullah Al Bashir(1983), Ahmed Shamsuddoha(1958), Aloptogin  ushar(1968), Anisuzzaman(1972), Ashraful Hasan(1977), Azmeer Hossain(1976),  Chandra Shekhar Dey(1952), Hamiduzzaman Khan(1946), Jamal Ahmed(1955), Kamaluddin(1977),  Mohammad Iqbal(1967), Mong Mong Sho(1989), Ranjit Das(1956),Ruhul Amin Tarek(1981), Shahanoor Mamun(1986), Sheikh Afzal Hossain(1960), Shohag Parvez(1981), Sumon Wahed(1986) and Tarun Ghosh (1953).

Talking about the exhibition, its coordinator Rajen Gain said, “Actually it is a virtual exhibition. We are not expecting huge spectators to visit us amid corona situation. We have arranged the exhibition to fulfill our desire for such work.”         

The exhibition will continue till July 17.
