BAB chairman infected with coronavirus

Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) Chairman and Chairman of Exim Bank Nazrul Islam Majumder has been infected with coronavirus.

His wife, son and daughter-in-law have also tested positive for the deadly pathogen.

Senior Assistant Vice President of Exim Bank Sanjeev Chatterjee told daily sun that they have been infected five days ago.

Nazrul Islam Majumder and his wife Nasreen Islam are undergoing treatment at their house in Mohakhali DOHS in the capital.

His son Walid Ibn Islam and daughter-in-law are undergoing treatment at Anwar Khan Modern Hospital in Dhanmondi.

The conditions of Nazrul Islam and his wife are improving gradually.

Textile and readymade garments industries are the main businesses of NASA Group. Around 30,000 employees are working in the factories of the group.

Nazrul Islam Majumdar has also investments in stock exchange, housing, education and tourism sectors.
