IU VC attends Int’l Faculty Development Programme

KUSHTIA: Islamic University in Kushtia Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari attended an International Faculty Development Programme (IFDP) on ‘Innovative Teaching Pedagogy and Igniting Students’ Interest through Virtual Mode for Higher Education Institutions’.

DYPEF’S Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development, Varale, Pune and Gramonnati Mandal’s Arts, Commerce and Science College, Department of Commerce and Research Centre jointly organised the Programme on Sunday.

Dr. Askari attended the programme as chief guest and he also presented keynote paper as resource person for IFDP on the theme ‘Innovative Teaching Pedagogy and Igniting Students’ Interest through Virtual Mode for Higher Education Institutions through Vebinarr e-platform. Looking at his stature in the industry and expertise in the field the organisers invited him to share his knowledge and expertise with the teachers and all stakeholders associated with higher education institutions.

Marketing Department Chairman Professor Dr Zakaria Rahman, Management Department Professor Dr Saiful Islam and Business Faculty Dean Professor Dr Arobindo Shaha of Islamic University, Bangladesh and 90 participants from different universities of India participated at the programme.
