Bangladesh National Football Team defender Topu Barman said that he wants to make Bangladesh National Football Team champions in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship.
“SAFF is the sub-continental World Cup, my first target is to make Bangladesh SAFF champions. It will inspire us and boost our confidence so that we can give the best performance in FIFA, AFC qualifiers. We have good players in the national team. Hopefully, we can do it, we can put Bangladesh in a better place,” he said during a Facebook live program named ‘FB LIVE Adda with Your Idol’ arranged by Bangladesh Football Team on Saturday night.The 25-year-old defender played total 30 matches for Bangladesh since 2013. He also played 13 matches for Bangladesh U-23 football team.
“As a footballer I dream big, want to play in the European league. But I know it is difficult for me, I need to increase my performance, need to play football of European standard. I follow Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos, he is my idol and favorite footballer,” said the defender.
