Air Force spl helicopter to carry patients

A special helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force is getting ready to carry Covid-19 patients in the country, Lt Col Abdullah Ibn Zaid, Director of ISPR, confirmed it to daily sun.

The organic stretcher of the AW-139 helicopter has been modified in such a way so that it can carry coronavirus affected patients.

The frame of the stretcher is made of stainless steel (SS) and rope is used to tie it. The cover has been made by thick plastic. The facility of oxygen mask will be available in the living room, the source added.

The zipper of the cover will be closed immediately after the patient with oxygen mask kept on the stretcher.

The whole process will be done outside the helicopter at a designated place called the handling room.

After the procedure, the patient will be taken to a helicopter using a medical trolley with oxygen cylinders.
