UNDP, UECL join hands for Covid-19 response

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative Sudipto Mukerjee said although COVID-19 in Bangladesh might not have a very high death toll but its collateral impacts are likely to create much greater socio-economic hardships.

UNDP in Bangladesh and United Enterprises and Co Ltd (UECL) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to aid collaborative response during and after the COVID 19.

UNDP Resident Representative, Sudipto Mukerjee and the Managing Director of UECL, Moinuddin Hasan Rashid, signed the MoU at the latter’s office, said the UNDP.
