Jack Ma’s medical supplies arrive

Another consignment of medical supplies donated by Chinese business magnate Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation arrived in Bangladesh on Sunday to combat COVID-19 in Bangladesh.

A cargo plane carrying medical supplies of 300,000 masks, including 30,000 N95 medical masks and 270,000 single use surgical masks arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3.00pm.

This was the second consignments by the foundations. “All these masks are of high medical quality which ensured Chinese frontline doctors to save thousands of lives,” said Chinese Deputy Ambassador Yan Hualong.

While handing over the medical supplies to the high officials of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Yan Hualong expressed deep satisfaction to Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation for their valuable support top the people of Bangladesh.
